In June 2013, Calgary, Alberta suffered the most devastating flood in it's history. When the waters from both the Bow and Elbow River crested over the land it flooded and decimated thousands of homes in calgary, canmore and high river. The flood displaced many homeowners, who many months later are still waiting for their homes to be rebuilt.
I had a beautiful condo right on the elbow river that was entirely flooded and now sits stripped to the studs until we decide our course of action.
