Don't miss the largest manufacturing conference on the prairies! Held on March 19, 2019, at the RBC Convention Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, this event will attract more than 300 attendees.

Manufacturing and Exporting are engines for growth in the economy, yet it's a very challenging and competitive global environment. To succeed and grow, they must strive to constantly improve and innovate.

The conference is built around three tracks, Connect, Innovate and Compete:

Connect-  designed to bring together manufacturers, suppliers and resources under one roof to share ideas and resources.

Innovate- industry leaders build session to help manufacturers stay innovative and disrupt instead of being disrupted in the future.

Compete- align teams around strategies for growth. Manufacturing has become a very competitive world, so standing out from the competition is essential.

The conference kicks off with guest speaker, Michael Timms with his speech, A Talent Revolution is Coming: Lead it or Lose it. Michael argues that succession planning is the key to thriving in the new labor market.

Guest speaker, Mathew Wilson will share his speech, Canada Today: What will Play a Role in the Future of Manufacturing? Canada is known as an innovator in advanced manufacturing, and a global leader in exporting. This critical session will discuss the latest on free trade efforts and agreements and how it impacts our manufacturing, exports, and economy.

I will be the closing funny motivational speaker to leave people on a high note as attendees go back to work to bringing with them Innovation and ideas for new competitiveness. My keynote speech, This Would be Funny if it Wasn't Happening to Me, will talk about how to stay resilient and innovative in the face of change.

I will combine comedy, interaction and content to lighten up the room and reveal another way to look at change. When we can laugh in the face of stress, we can see it more positively and optimistically, leading to more innovative ideas and stronger teams.

It has been a tumultuous year for manufacturers and exporters dealing with uncertainty in the global economy and new trade regulations. This smart and innovative group of manufacturing leaders understands the pressure to compete and they rise to the challenge.
