Motivational Speaker for SGI Canada

On April 14, 2018, I am a motivational speaker for the SGI Canada conference held in Saskatoon, Sk.

Over 1,000 insurance brokers from across Alberta, BC, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Ontario will attend. The brokers in the audience sell the SGI Insurance products to their clients.

In 1944, the Government of Saskatchewan passed the Saskatchewan Government Insurance Act, the provincial crown corporation now known as SGI. SGI provides competitive affordable insurance protection to the people of Saskatchewan. The company works with almost 500 independent insurance brokers, many of which will be attending this event.

The SGI Canada Conference will feature sessions on cutting technology used to help support clients, farm sector approaches, customer service and more.

This audience has to be comfortable with change, one of the biggest is keeping up with changing consumer demands. Today, consumers expect better service, faster. Technology is altering perceptions and consumers want real-time information and immediate gratification. Add to this, attention spans are dwindling. Thus, consumers want service but may not be willing to pay attention to and understand the coverage they need. 

Insurance brokers today thrive to provide value and help consumers understand insurance. After all, it's a product people know they need but they don't want to take the time to understand. Thinking about potential loss is never an easy thing, thus many people want to get it over with quickly. Consumers want the best coverage at the best price, so agents are always trying to stay relevant, responsive and competitive.

I look forward to being the opening funny motivational speaker for the the SGI Canada Conference. I will present the motivational speech, This Would be Funny if it Wasn't Happening to Me, How to Navigate the future with Humor, Enthusiasm and Vigor. We will look at ways to stay resilient in the fact of stress and change.
