On May 9, 2018, I am a motivational speaker for the South Dakota Society of Human Resources Managers ( SHRM) Conference.
The event, taking place at the Lodge at Deadwood, South Dakota will attract over 400 HR professionals from across South Dakota.
The most significant talent conference in the state, cutting-edge topics include handling difficult conversations, HR value added, Workplace Bullying, Cultural intelligence, fraud and abuse, Background checks, Strategic Planning, The Future of HR and much more
Check out the whole conference inspiring guest speaker agenda.
The other inspirational motivational speaker is Mike Oster and guest speaker Mark Matteson, both from the South Dakota area. The theme of the conference, Solving the HR Puzzle resonates with this room. HR professionals have to constantly put together resources and people to make things happen. Often working with less resources and less time, they can feel stretched and exhausted.
South Dakota has a diverse employment environment with everything from healthcare, technology, tourism, oil and gas and more. HR professionals come from diverse backgrounds and industries, each having their own unique challenges.
The SD SHRM is an affiliate of the national organization the Society of Human Resources Managers. The association operates under the guidance of National SHRM. Participants of the SD SHRM conference will receive continuing education credits for participation.
The mission of the association is to Lead Human Resources in South Dakota through Human Resources Expertise, Advocacy, Professional Support, Educational Opportunities, and Networking.
I am excited to be the funny motivational speaker to do the conference keynote opening speech. I will also do an interactive break out session called; I Love my Job, it's the People I Can't Stand!
