On April 30, 2016, I am a humourous closing motivational speaker for the Alberta Food Matters conference. The event, organized by alberta health services is themed, Connect, Collaborate, Cultivate, and is being held at the Bernard Snell Hall at the University of Alberta.
Close to 300 Dieticians, Patient Food Services, Directors and Nutrition Food Service staff will attend.
This diverse audience will learn about nutrition labeling, making better food choices, and cultural understanding-all pressing concerns for Dieticians and food service professionals.
Food Service Professionals manage patient/ resident food needs, making sure food is prepared, delivered and consumed properly. Many delegates work on menu planning, develop education /awareness programs, and manage food services staff. What brings this room together is the overall goal to enhance quality of life through proper nutrition.
Enhancing the patient meal experience is challenging as these professionals are always under the gun to do more work with fewer resources.
The other business performance guest speaker is Michael Bremmer from the Cumberland Group, Motivational speaker Sunjay Nath and many more. Check out the agenda here.
