I am a motivational speaker for the Arizona Parks and Recreation Conference at the Sheraton Grand Phoenix.
The event will draw over 500 parks and recreation professionals from across Arizona.
The conference includes a wide variety of educational sessions covering a broad range of issues on a local, state and national level. The event hosts parks and recreation guest speakers, a large exhibit hall, informative and interactive workshops, tours, socials, golf tournament and much more.
The only annual meeting for parks and recreation professionals in the state of Arizona, this passionate group of advocates looks for opportunities to support each other.
Over the years, parks and recreation in all areas have seen a lot of cutbacks. Thus, many recreation programs run with less resources, the staff have to do more work, and they often feel stretched.
The economic benefits of parks and programs are not always qualitfiable.
Yet, parks and recreation programs help improve health, personal development, boosts pride, and enhances quality of life in the community.
Also, a seasonal industry, many younger college or high school students find their first work experiences in parks and recreation.
I look forward to being the opening funny motivational speakers for the Parks and Recreation Conference. I will present the motivational speech.
This Would be Funny if it Wasn't Happening to Me! Also, I will present the workshop , I Love My Job, it's the People I Can't Stand.
