In October, I am a motivational speaker for a couple of large governor's tourism conferences.
These are annual gatherings of tourism professionals, often sponsored and supported by the local convention and visitors bureau. The purpose of the events are to help tourism professionals promote local tourism.
Guest speakers at the tourism conferences include topics on social media, competiveness, sustainability, advertising, tourism marketing, leadership, managing part time staff, generational speakers and more.
Tourism is a key sector in most economies. Attracting tourists, maintaining momentum, promoting events are all important to local business owners and the economic stability.
I am looking forward to being a motivational speaker for the governor's tourism conference. I am giving the motivational speech the Nerve to Serve... Say Hello to Humor and Goodbye to Burnout!
The speech will remind tourism professionals the power that humor, play, community and connection have communities and overall personal wellness. My goal is to reconnect tourism professionals to the meaning, value and joy of the work they do. Overall the hospitality and tourism industry helps friends, family members and communities to connect, engage and strengthen relationships. At the same time, vacation, relaxation and fun is critical to overall wellness and vitality in this time starved, over worked world.
