Life Long Trouble Makers Change the World

motivational speechMuch is going wrong in the world today. Corruption, lying, destruction, bullying.

Imagine a scandal of epic proportions that tears communities apart, and people stand back and simply watch. Now, as my trouble making lawyer friend ( Claudious) reminds me... know that this is happening all over the world and many people are doing nothing about it.

Two things I like about Claudious: 1) He is a corporate lawyer, so he knows about the intricacies of people as he tirelessly litigates on their behalf. 2) He is wierd. Claudious is definately not conventional and spends his time thinking about ways he can shake things up and change the world.

Like many trouble makers, he campaigns hard to change the system. When I meet someone this passionate and unusual, I pay attention. So many people just sit back and let the world happen to them. After all, we are busy, we have jobs, children, bills to pay. Who has time to do anything outside of this routine? Trouble makers make time.

Their passion for their cause means they are not satisfied. Ever. Driven by an intense desire many normal people would never relate to, trouble makers have strange ambition.

I always admire people who have the courage to speak up. More than this, they have the will to carry it out and do something.

When speaking to Claudious, I have the easiest hard conversations I have ever had. His passion is so strong, I don't mind listening to heated discussions about politics or the french revolution.

As a motivational keynote speaker, I have quoted Claudious because he always has great unconventional ideas and passion.  I do not envy him being a lawyer, fighting with the law all the time.

As Claudious often says: If you want to fight, call your mother. If you want to create harmony call me. He does not fight. He uses the law to clarify contracts and bring justice.

Claudious also often says: The way you do one thing is the way you do everything. In other words, behind our actions are our beliefs which drive behavior. If you lie in one situation, you will in others. If you are extremely ethical, it crosses over in all areas of life. So true.

Apparently you become like the people you spend the most time with, so I spend as much time as I can with Claudious.
