Safety in any organization is non-negotiable. You never barter away safety for productivity, efficiency or effectiveness. However, when it comes to day to day work, sometimes there is a disconnect between getting the job done quickly and common safety protocol.
Employees have to accept a safety culture and make it a top priority. The Workplace Safety North cutting edge agenda covers core mining safety topics like mining culture, leadership, innovations and new technology in mining safety, and keeping up with policy changes with the Ontario Ministry of Labour.
