On June 2, 2015, I am a motivational speaker for the Chartwell Retirement Residences Front Line Staff Event. The event takes place at the MISSISSAUGA Grand Banquet Hall in Mississauga, Ontario.
Over 250 people are invited from 28 different chartwell homes across Ontario.
The Chartwell overall mission is Making People's Lives Better. Residents have grown to count on the front line staff and the compassionate care.
Front line staff include personal support workers, housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, dietery, food services and program staff. Daily, these hard working professionals are the face of Chartwell, providing core services that keep residents healthy and happy.
Serving senior citizens is very rewarding and gratifying, at the same time it can be physically and mentally exhausting. The job often involves lifting and helping seniors stay active, these professionals are always on their feet. For the front line staff, the best recognition comes from the senior citizens they serve.
This day is designed to help these hard working professionals fee re-invigorated and re-inspired by their work.
I look forward to being an opening keynote motivational speaker for the Chartwell Front Line staff event with the speech Daring to Be Caring.
I will also be the closing keynote speaker with the speech, I Love my Job, it's the People I Can't Stand!
