On June 7, 2016, I am a funny motivational speaker for the North Dakota School Nutrition Association Conference, in Bismark, North Dakota.
This dedicated audience consists of over 250 school nutrition staff, including, food preparation, food servers, managers and more. In today's economy, school budgets are cut back and food service professionals are continually looking for ways to serve nutritious food to students in an economical way. This often means menu substitutions and other efficiencies.
Serving kids healthy food is key to overall learning, growth and education. These dedicated school food service professionals work tirelessly to make sure that students are offered nutritious, healthy food choices.
Providing high quality, low cost meals to students. The annual state conference is a very important opportunity to strengthen connections, look for new low cost menu planning options, collaborate and advocate for the school nutrition services.
School nutrition professionals love to laugh! I look forward to kicking off the conference as the opening funny motivational speaker with the program, This Would be Funny if it Wasn't Happening to Me! I will also present the workshop motivational speech, I Love My Job, it's the People I Can't Stand!
