On October 16, 2012, I am a motivational speaker for the Grande Prairie Chamber of Commerce Women in Business Luncheon.
The event has over 120 women enrolled from a diverse mix of industries. The event is catered for women during the chamber of commerce small business week.
The women attending the event either own small businesses in grande prairie or they work in one.
As the owner of my own motivational speaking business, I know that owning a small business can be very challenging. Everything from staffing, inventory, regulation, marketing, budgeting and more is the concern of the small business owner.
It can be overwhelming, as entrepreneurs wear many hats trying to get things done with limited resources.
I am delivering one of my inspirational speeches, This would be Funny.... if it wasn't Happening to Me! How to Embrace Change with Enthusiasm and Vigor.
We will take a humorous look at how we attempt to do it all in the midst of increased change and regulation as a small owner. Especially as a woman, trying to balance home and work responsibilities can leave you frazzled and spent. Humor is often the best method to take yourself lightly and create distance from the chaos.
