On August 29 , 2012, I am a motivational keynote speaker for the Boeing Company in Charleston, South Carolina.
The event is designed for the Boeing Customer Market Engagement Team. The audience consists of Boeing Company meeting planners from across the world who coordinate events for their customers.
The Customer Market Engagement Team is broken down into two distinct areas:
1) Commercial. This customer relationship team services internal customers like regional managers from across the 7 regions and their sales team. They coordinate events for sale teams to invite clients to. Their external customers are the corporations and individuals who attend the events and ultimately buy aircrafts.
2) Defense. Government contracts usually involve more red tape and specific rules regarding what you can do with government employees. It always helps to know the Organizational Chart as customers in this group will have different requirements.
There is pressure on the customer relationship team to get meetings booked and coordinated in a very quick and efficient way while still pulling off a fabulous event. The minute an aircraft is built, it cost a lot of lost revenue to have it sit idle, so events need to be planned efficiently around aircrafts and people's schedules.
Adding to the planning pressure; many executives schedules change at the last minute so numbers will often fluctuate effecting overall attendance.
The other motivational keynote speaker for the Boeing event is Mark David Jones presenting a motivational speech on sales.
I will present the Motivational speech The Nerve to Serve... Say to Humor & Goodbye to Burnout! I will also present parts of the motivational speech Managing Millenials.
