On October 1, 2013, I am a Motivational Speaker for the MetalCon Construction Show, in Atlanta,Georgia.
This event will bring thousands of construction and building industry professionals from around the USA. Everyone in the audience works with metal products in one form or another. MetalCon will attract thousands of exhibitors who sell metal products. This is a premier venue for them to reach their best clients, build relationships, do product demos and more.
About 40% of the audience will be contractors. They will range from large companies to smaller mom and pop operations. We will also have some engineers and architexts in the group. A good portion of the group will be in a sales and marketing role. Many companies work with metal roofing.
Like most industries, the construction industry is still bouncing back from the effects of a pretty devastating recession. People are stressed out as budgets have been cut, customers are ordering less and resources are thin.
The group also deals with codes and compliance and fire codes as it relates to the use of metal in construction. Proper metal ratings can have a big effect on metals use in construction. Commonly the construction industry uses metal or wood. Metal's advantage is that it a recyleable product, has lasting longevity, and is sustainable.
The other guest speakers will present speeches on a range of topics from sales, roofing design and construction, using digital technology, retrofit roofing and more.
I look forward to being a motivational speaker for the MetalCon Construction Show. I will present the motivational speech, This Would be Funny if it Wasn't Happening to Me! and the Motivational speech I Love my Job, it's the People I Can't Stand.
